Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe, a singer-songwriter of country music from the USA. She released two singles in 2007 and an album called Satisfied. 2013 was the year she released her second album entitled Like a Rose. Ashley Monroe is the Assistant Village Manager for the Village of Riverside Illinois and has over 15 years of experience working as a public servant, which includes nearly five years as the Deputy City Manager for Iowa City. In her role as Assistant Village Director, she oversees managing the Community Development and Building Department. The department is responsible for coordinating the grant application process and also completing specific projects. Ashley's job in Riverside is to aid with the day-to-day operation of village services and implement the vision for strategic planning set out by the elected officials. Ashley's previous roles include government planning communications budgeting staff management and collective negotiation. Ashley is also passionate about climate change. Because of her involvement with local and national organisations as well as her work with communities with diverse populations, Ashley has gained insight on the complexities differences and similarities in how public organizations function. Ashley's course focuses on contemporary strategies for the management of public affairs and leaders, from the perspective of an experienced practitioner. Ashley's focus on adapting to changing circumstances and challenges as well as navigating intergovernmental and community relations, and making ethical decisions gives context to both new professionals as well as those working in public institutions.

Her birth date is 29 March 1985 in Roswell in New Mexico. Gerina Michel Mendoza was her birthname. Gerina Stevenson's parents were Mexican Alan Stevenson & Rita Stevenson. She is Mexican-American by heritage but has American citizenship. From the time she was a kid, she's always had a strong interest in playing activities.
